The simplest way to safely move or rename your assets is to always do it from within Force project folder. This way, Force automatically moves or renames the corresponding extension file. Read more about how Force importing assets behind the scenes click here.
Each type of asset that Force supports has its own Importer. Importer or set of descriptions, which affect how the asset appears or behaves. To view an asset’s importer, select the asset in the Assets Browser. The importer options for this asset will appear in the Inspector. The options that appear vary depending on the type of asset importer.
For example Audio assets shows information about audio and how it will imported.
These are the audio asset settings. As you can see, not only the settings are displayed, but also information about this audio file, for example, the audio type or format. Depending on the type of asset, the settings for this asset will differ dramatically. There are also settings that you can change and they will affect how the asset will be used for objects. For example, this is pitch. To save the settings click on button Apply or if you want restore the default settings press Use Default button.
Most of assets have a preview window that shows preview of the asset. In case of Audio you can play it right in the preview.
