Editor Layout
The first thing to start with when you launch Force is with its main layout, and those main windows that it consists of, which will be the basis for working on the project. This is the layout of the editor.
As with most engines, the design of Force was sharpened so that it was easy to switch from another engine and the work was just as clear. I want to say right away if Force is the first engine you work with, then I strongly recommend that you first study other open access engines, since Force is developed by one person and it is simply impossible to implement infinitely many different functions.
The basis of the editor's design has already been standardized, and there will be no global changes, but it is also worth understanding that small design changes with subsequent versions of Force will change, for example, the location of some buttons or panels.
So let's get started.
(1) The Menu Bar is a panel window in which, as in any other program, displays information about quick actions that you can do or configure or create is displayed.
(2) The Tool Bar panel witch contains several group of sub-toolbars such a Standard Toolbar, Gameplay Toolbar and Objects Toolbar. It used to fast access to Force scenes, projects, game objects and other commands.
(3) The Explorer allows you to manage all the created game objects in the scene, as well as manage the scene itself or several scenes at the same time
(4) The Inspector is one of the main panels in which most of the creation of the game and the project will take place.
(5) The Scene View and Game View allows you to visually navigate and edit your Scene. The Scene view can show a 3D or 2D perspective, depending on the type of Project you are working on. The Game view display scene when its playing.
(6) The Browser window displays all of the files related to your Project and is the main way you can navigate and find Assets and other Project files in your application.
(7) The Status bar, is show information, about script compilation, and Force additional global background tasks.
